On November 6th, a group of teachers and students from the Advanced Training Class for Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection at Tianjin University, filled with enthusiasm and a spirit of exploration for environmental protection, visited Peier Membrane Industry to carry out a visit and exchange activity. Their core spirit is profound and distinct, which is specifically manifested in the following four spirits: 

1. The pioneering and exploratory spirit: In the mid-to-late 20th century, environmental regulations, technologies, and standards were almost non-existent. They relied on trial and error to navigate through the challenges, went deep into the contaminated areas to collect first-hand data, promoted the drafting of environmental protection regulations and established the institutional framework, and delved into applicable technologies to break the foreign monopoly. 

2. Unwavering Commitment Spirit: In the face of financial shortages, inadequate equipment, and the outdated belief that "environmental protection hinders production", they have long been stationed at the remote factory sites to conduct monitoring of exhaust gas and wastewater, directly confronting numerous obstacles and persisting in pollution control, firmly safeguarding the ecological bottom line. 

3. The spirit of selfless dedication and hard work: They are not afraid of harsh weather and brave the journey over mountains and through valleys to collect data. They stay at remote locations far from their families. With low salaries and high workloads, they travel day and night by slow trains. Even when they encounter snowstorms, they always remain steadfast. 

Four. The sense of responsibility for the country: They closely linked environmental protection actions with national development and people's well-being. They cooperated with the government in formulating industry standards, promoting the closure of high-pollution enterprises, and actively participated in national key projects such as the White Crane Rock Inscriptions in Fuling, Chongqing and the Beijing Winter Olympics. With the mindset of "achieving benefits for the present and advantages for the future", they safeguarded the ecological security of the country.

Mr. Zhou focused on the innovative practices of the new generation of environmental managers, and introduced the explorations and achievements of Peier Membrane Industry in areas such as technological research and development, product upgrading, and business model innovation.
